| The Way We Teach |
|
The training we perform is generally split between 50% practical work and 50% presentation and discussion. Where appropriate, a single large non-trivial case study will be used as the backbone of the entire course and this case study will have been designed to allow delegates to learn at a steady and progressive rate and apply all they have learned to the single project. The presentation of the course material involves a range of training techniques to suit all learning styles and includes slide shows, facilitated working groups and open informal workshops. Should the customer wish us to do so, we will provide course material prior to the running of the course, thereby giving the delegates the opportunity to read up on the subject so that when they attend the course, they will already have had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the subject and prepare advanced questions. In presenting our training courses, we strive to form lasting professional relationships with the delegates who have attended the courses. This enables us to provide informal email support for training or technical questions before and after the course event. It also means that the course event itself, although sufficient to get the delegates launched into their projects, can be made even more effective by email based technical support. Where appropriate and with the agreement of the customer, we can even feed their project based technical issues into the running of on-site and sometimes even public courses and for all on-site training, our trainers will readily adapt themselves to working within the software environment of the customer. Whether you are a team of people or an individual, your training needs will be accommodated by us. We are happy to work at your site, or if you prefer, we can provide a venue for the course.
